The idea

Crafting orders, minus the guesswork

Crafting orders are full of crafters, and plenty of them are bots. TrustCrafter quietly logs every order you place, so when you hover a crafter you know straight away whether they've done good work for you before.

TrustCrafterCrafted 4x for you
4 of 4 met or beat the rank you asked for.
Usually done in about 38 min.
Guild: 11 orders from 5 people, all met.
Planned features

What it will do

Automatic order log

Every crafting order you place is recorded with no typing: the rank you asked for, the rank you got, the tip and how long it took.

Outcomes from facts

Met, Exceeded or Below is worked out from the item you received. Expired or cancelled orders never count against anyone.

Crafter tooltips

Hover a crafter's name in the order list, chat or unit frames to see your history with them at a glance.

History window

Every past order in one place with /tc. Sort and filter by crafter, profession and outcome.

Notes and tags

Add a short note or tags like fast, friendly or used own mats. Always kept separate from the facts.

Trusted crafters

A badge next to crafters you or your guild have used before. A list of who to trust, not a blacklist.

Fair to crafters

Built to be hard to game

Reviews only count when they come from someone who actually placed the order, and the crafter's side of the story is part of it.

Rating protection

The addon records the facts. You only add your opinion on top.

No order, no ratingYou can only review a crafter you actually used.
Facts are lockedRequested rank, delivered rank and times can't be edited.
Met means metAn order that hit the rank you asked for can never be marked as a failure.
Time is contextTurnaround is shown, never held against anyone. They might have been asleep.
One per orderEditing a note replaces it, so nobody can pile on.

Sharing you can check

When both the customer and the crafter run TrustCrafter, each shared review is checked against the crafter's own log of the same order.

ConfirmedBoth sides logged the same order and rank.
DisputedThe ranks don't match, so both versions are shown.
UnconfirmedThe crafter has no record of this order.
One-sidedThe crafter doesn't run TrustCrafter.

Sharing is off by default. Guild and realm sharing are separate switches, and private notes are never shared.

The plan

Three steps to trusted crafters

Roadmap

v1: Your own ledgerOrder logging, outcomes, notes and tags, crafter tooltips and the history window.
v2: Guild sharingCrafter-side logging, two-party confirmation and syncing with your guild.
v3: Realm sharingAsk your realm about a crafter, with trust levels kept separate: you, your guild, then everyone else.

Good to know

Same realmPublic orders only reach crafters on your realm, so everything is realm-scoped to match.
Retail onlyBuilt for Midnight, patch 12.x.
Rates, not stars"19 of 20 orders met the rank, from 7 people" instead of a star score.
